We have one girl who is 16 1/2, and a boy on the way, due March 2023. Our daughter, Mia, is incredible! Smart, athletic, friendly, and kind. I have 4 dogs, 3 cats, and a lizard. |

We live in Fayetteville, NC, and have lived here going on 20 years. |

What do you do for a living? |
I am an emergency medicine PA (physician assistant) full time and do cosmetic medicine part time. I also teach for my master’s program part time. |

What other jobs have you had? What was/is your favorite? |
I was active duty army after high school then became a paramedic for 11 years before going to graduate school. I don’t have a favorite; I have loved my entire career as it has developed. But if I have to choose, working in the ICU as a PA has been my favorite…despite Covid! |

What are you most proud of doing since graduating from high school? |
Having an incredible daughter! She’s the best parts of me and my husband plus all of her own awesomeness. Also, running a marathon when I was 26 and multiple half marathons. |

What do you want to do but haven’t done yet? |
Move to Florida! And travel more! |

What are your hobbies? How do you like to spend your free time? |
Reading, listening podcasts, relaxing with my family. Also really enjoy fitness and wine! |

House of the Dragon and Bridgerton. And reading both! |

In what ways have you changed or stayed the same since high school? (for example: likes & dislikes, world views, etc. ) |
Like most, I have become much more secure as a human being in general. Especially coming into my 30’s it has been wonderful to really own my personality the way that it is and realize it’s ok to not be everyone’s cup of tea. I also think that with that comes significantly less judgement of others which is so refreshing. That being said, I am still a very excited person who enjoys to socialize and seek out others! I am 100% a Leo haha! |

Is there anything you miss or anything about which you reminisce about high school? |
I miss the simplicity. Of course, it didn’t FEEL simple back then. I also really miss marching band because we were a very tight group. |

Do you have any favorite high school teachers or classes or after-school activities that have made a positive difference in your life? |
Marching band had a huge impact on my life, both positive and negative. Many people from my grade will say the same because we had some awful things happen. But we had some amazing things happen too. |
